Setting Up a Mac or Windows Computer at ÈËÆÞÓÕ»ó

Connecting to Wireless

ÈËÆÞÓÕ»ó has two wireless networks--ÈËÆÞÓÕ»ó1x is for community members, ÈËÆÞÓÕ»óXenia is intended for campus visitors. Learn more on our wireless page. On Mac OS, simply choose ÈËÆÞÓÕ»ó1x from the list of wireless networks, and enter your Kerberos username and password when prompted. Windows users will need to follow our detailed instructions for connecting to ÈËÆÞÓÕ»ó1x on Windows.

Connecting to Ethernet

Wired ethernet connections are available in most dorms on campus. Devices on the wired network must be registered at .

Devices are registered by the ethernet MAC address. Learn how to find your MAC address.

Devices registered on the wired network must be reregistered every year. IT staff will send an email notification with your registered device information. To continue using your devices on the network, go to: and click the Renew button for each device. Use the Delete key to remove the device and its information from our system.

Installing Printers & Copiers

Printers and copiers are located in various academic buildings across campus, inculding in the Educational Technology Center (ETC), the Library, Performing Arts Center (PAB), Gray Campus Center (GCC), and more.

Security

There are a few things you can do to insure the safety of your computer and data:

  1. Back up your data
  2. Keep your operating system and software up-to-date
  3. Turn off autologin and require a password on screensaver/wake from sleep
  4. Use unique passwords for every account
