Erik Bernhardt
Chief Investment Officer
Erik joined ÈËÆÞÓÕ»ó in 2019 as the college’s first CIO and heads the Investment Office. Working alongside the Investment Committee, external consultants, and Investment Office staff, he is responsible for the prudent management of the ÈËÆÞÓÕ»ó College endowment. Erik started his career with Cambridge Associates in Washington DC, providing investment consulting services to endowments and foundations. He later joined PAAMCO, an alternative investment firm, and spent ten years researching hedge funds and managing portfolios for global institutions. Most recently, Erik served as a Director at Artisan Partners in San Francisco and was tasked with building new investment teams.
Erik holds a BA from Principia College in History and Business Administration and an MBA from UCLA Anderson. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
Steve Yeadon
Director of Facilities Services
Steve has been working in facilities services for over 20 years, progressing in responsibility and job scope. He worked for Clackamas School District before joining ÈËÆÞÓÕ»ó in 2006 and, prior to his work in facilities, he was an engineering department manufacturing technician at Hewlett-Packard for 15 years.
Steve is now responsible for project management, coordination of campus construction, and renovations. He also has oversight of the professional team that provides custodial support, building, and landscape maintenance.
Steve has an AS certification in Machining Technology from Clark College, Certified HVAC Specialist from Inland Northwest, an Oregon electrical license, and is a Certified Educational Facilities Professional (CEFP) through the professional organization APPA (Association of Physical Plant Administrators).
Heather Quinn-Barron
Director of Human Resources
Heather joined ÈËÆÞÓÕ»ó College as director of human resources in 2022. She brings over 25 years of experience in the field and is responsible for overseeing recruiting, benefits, compensation, employee communications, employee relations, and professional training and development. Before joining ÈËÆÞÓÕ»ó, Heather spent 13 years with FedEx Ground in progressively more responsible leadership roles and was Director of Human Resources at not-for-profit foster youth agencies, most notably the Sacramento Children's Home.
Heather holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and organic chemistry from the University of Oregon and a master’s degree in business administration from Golden Gate University. She is also a standing executive board member with the University of Oregon Black Alumni Network and an advisory member for Portland Community College Supply Chain Education Committee.
Andrew Lonergan
Director of Investments
Andrew joined ÈËÆÞÓÕ»ó in 2006. He is responsible for working alongside the Investment Committee, college staff and external consultants to ensure the prudent management of the ÈËÆÞÓÕ»ó College endowment. Previously, Andrew was a hedge fund analyst and client services representative for an investment consultant in Portland that advised ultra-high net worth individuals and families. Before that he spent ten years in New York City working in a variety of roles for Cantor Fitzgerald and Credit Suisse Asset Management.
Andrew has a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
April Sams
Director of Risk Management & EHS
April joined ÈËÆÞÓÕ»ó College in 2016. She is responsible for evaluating potentially hazardous conditions, implementing programs, protocols and trainings as ways to mitigate risk, and providing regulatory oversight for local, state, and federal occupational safety laws. Before coming to ÈËÆÞÓÕ»ó, April worked at both Oregon Health and Science University and Indiana University in EHS.
April has a degree in Biology from Indiana State University and is a certified Chemical Hygiene Officer from the National Registry of Certified Chemists.
Robert Tust
Associate Treasurer & Controller
Robert joined ÈËÆÞÓÕ»ó in 2016. He is responsible for the operations of the Business Office, which includes payroll, accounts payable, cash management, financial reporting and budgeting. Robert is also responsible for maintaining policies, procedures, and controls to ensure accurate financial reporting and the safe guarding of the college's assets. Before joining ÈËÆÞÓÕ»ó, Robert was a manager at Kaiser Permanente and a senior manager at KPMG LLP.
Robert has a BA in business administration from the University of Montana and is a licensed CPA in the State of Oregon.
Danielle Maris Lacob
Associate to the Vice President & Treasurer
Danielle joined ÈËÆÞÓÕ»ó in 2024. She is responsible for providing executive support to the Vice President & Treasurer, supporting board of trustee committees, serving as the primary point of contact for college insurance matters, managing incoming and outgoing documents and communications, and assisting the investment office. Before coming to ÈËÆÞÓÕ»ó, Danielle worked as a student services specialist for the University of California, Los Angeles.
Danielle has a BA in English Literature from Tufts University and an MFA in Film from Columbia University.
