Office of Financial Aid

The Financial Aid office is the best starting place if you have financial concerns. There may be adjustments that can be made to your aid package or additional resources for you to utilize. Financial aid staff are available for walk-ins as well as scheduled appointments Monday - Friday from 8:30-5:00.

Provides information about tuition costs and fees, how and when bills are sent, and how to make a payment; also provides information about student health insurance options.

Center for Life Beyond ÈËÆÞÓÕ»ó (CLBR)

Coordinates the Career Advancement Fund to assist students with professional development pursuits and related costs; provides career advising and coordinates fellowships and awards.

Low SES/First Gen Student Group

A student-run group focused on community building and resource sharing. Coordinates fall semester Winter Clothing Drive, coordinates shared textbooks, mini-scholarships (bookstore, printing) and compiles the Low SES + First Gen Info & Resource Guide. Tri-Met Honored Citizen Pass

Students who qualify for and enroll in a low-income honored citizen pass will receive a monthly public transportation pass fully subsidized by ÈËÆÞÓÕ»ó. Once enrolled, students can bring their card to the Cashier Window monthly to have it loaded at no cost to the student.

Student Technology Equipment Program

This lending program allows approved students to borrow a Laptop for the duration of the academic year or until graduation, whichever comes first; priority is given to thesising seniors or current financial aid recipients; a nonrefundable $50 fee applies. Contact chs@reed.edu for further details.

Thesis Printing & Binding

Students who qualify for a Federal Pell Grant (and international students who have equivalent financial need) may be reimbursed through financial aid for thesis printing/binding costs of up to $125. Contact financial.aid@reed.edu to see if you qualify!

ÈËÆÞÓÕ»ó Community Pantry (RCP)

Provides food, school supplies, personal care items, and clothing at no cost to ÈËÆÞÓÕ»ó students, staff, and faculty; located in 042 of the Gray Campus Center (GCC).

The ÈËÆÞÓÕ»ó Care Team

Coordinates support for students experiencing personal or academic concerns that interfere with their ability to be successful in the college setting.

Emergency Loans

Serves students who are experiencing financial hardship and are unable to receive assistance from their parents or family members on an emergency short-term basis; typically limited to $500 or less and must be repaid by the end of the semester in which the loan is made.

A limited resource available for students who have short-term or one-time needs that are deemed immediately vital to the personal health or the academic well-being of the student. Priority is given to students with financial need who have exhausted all forms of financial aid.
