Get Started
Cascade is a content management system (CMS) that allows you to create, edit, and publish web pages. It runs in your web browser, so there's nothing to download or install on your computer. Here's how to get started.
Visit and enter your ÈËÆÞÓÕ»ó credentials (same as for email). You can access Cascade wherever you have an internet connection. You can use a smartphone or tablet, but a computer will be easiest.
Meet Your Dashboard
The first thing you'll see after logging in is your Dashboard. Return to it any time by clicking the Cascade logo at the top left of the screen. You may not use a lot of the things here, but there are a few items you may find helpful.
My Content
The Recent tab lists the most recent items you have viewed or edited in Cascade. This is handy for quickly returning to those items without having to use the Sites menu or Asset Tree (see below). The Starred tab lists anything you have, well, starred. Look for the star icon after selecting a page or folder; click it to add it to this list.
My Sites
This lists the Sites you have accessed most recently and may be a little quicker to use than the Sites menu (see below), which always lists all your Sites.
Notifications
Every time you publish something, Cascade creates a report for you about what was published and whether there were any problems. These reports are listed here. Keep an eye out for any reports that end with something like "(2 issue(s))." That usually means there are broken links in the things you published. Click the title to get more details.
Use the Sites Menu
The Sites dropdown menu is at the top left of the screen next to the Cascade logo. If you have access to multiple Sites, you can switch between them here.
Explore the Asset Tree
A website is made up folders and files, much the same as those on your desktop. The Asset Tree lists all the folders, pages, and files you can edit. Click a folder name to show what's inside. Click on a page name and you are ready to learn about editing.
