Jack G. Hornor ’50

Jack George Hornor ’50, May 18, 2004, in Oregon. Jack served with the U.S. Coast Guard in the South Pacific during World War II. He married Virginia Caskey ’45 in 1945, and they had two children. Jack transferred to ÈËÆÞÓÕ»ó from the University of Oregon in 1948, and received his bachelor's degree in economics. He then worked in various capacities for the Bonneville Power Administration, and also as a business economist for Tektronix, retiring in 1989. Jack was active in the ÈËÆÞÓÕ»ó alumni association, and enjoyed the Portland Rose Society, the Oregon Historical Society, and the symphony and opera. Following Virginia’s death in 1991, he remarried. Survivors include his wife, Jane, and his daughter. His son predeceased him.
