James John Ferguson ’72

James John Ferguson ’72, September 8, 2004, in Belmont, Massachusetts. James attended ÈËÆÞÓÕ»ó for two years, then transferred to Stanford University from which he received a bachelor’s degree in history. After graduation, he accepted a position as a reporter and copy editor with the Texas Observer. In 1977, he moved to Boston, joining the staff of the Boston Phoenix weekly, for which he was managing editor, associate editor, and arts editor. His final position was with the Boston Globe, where he was editor of the arts. Survivors include his wife, Patricia Moskow ’73, two daughters, and his father and sister.
