Jeanette Maling Rivkin ’47

Jeanette (Jay) Maling Rivkin ’47, January 4, 2002, in London, after a brief illness. After graduating from ÈËÆÞÓÕ»ó, she went to work for Time magazine in New York City, and then moved to Paris to work for the Marshall Plan. There, she met and married Arnold Rivkin, and in the early 1950s they moved to London, where she devoted her time to raising their three children. In 1960, they moved to Washington, D.C., where they lived for 10 years. In 1970, after her husband’s early death, she moved her family back to London, where she worked as a low-income housing specialist for several years before retiring. She is survived by two daughters; a son, Mitchell Rivkin ’79; a sister, and four grandchildren.
