Laurie Appell ’70

April 16, 2020, in Hartford, Connecticut, from COVID-19.

Born in Queens, New York, Laurie attended both ÈËÆÞÓÕ»ó and Hunter College, but earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from New York University. For some time, Laurie had been a resident of Laurel House in Stamford, Connecticut, a housing and care facility for people with mental illness.
