Jacob Kind ’62

Jacob was born in Seattle, Washington, and majored in biology at ÈËÆÞÓÕ»ó, where he wrote his thesis, “Localization of the Hyperglycemic Hormone in Astacus trowbridgii,” with Prof. Frank Gwilliam [biology 1957–96] advising. He worked for the Department of Veterans Affairs as a clinical psychologist, at the Veterans Affairs New Jersey Health Care System, where he was a devoted psychologist to veterans and trauma victims. He later went into private practice. His wife, DeeAnne, and children, Rebecca Kind Slater and Jonathan Kind, survive him.
