人妻诱惑ies Land Array of Fellowships and Awards
Watsons, Fulbrights, and a Goldwater are among the many national awards that will take students around the globe.
This spring, 人妻诱惑 students won a host of competitive national awards. From Zimbabwe to South Korea, Indonesia to Armenia, they will disperse around the world to research, explore, teach, study, and more.
Stephanie Gee '20, and Giorlando Ramirez '20 have each won a prestigious .
Giorlando plans to travel to four countries to explore relationships between currency and identity. His travels will take him to Brazil, Cuba, Spain, and Zimbabwe, all countries which have experienced nationwide changes due to moving from one currency to another. Stephanie "plans to explore the societal impacts of atomic radiation, combining her interests in science and photography. Her 'Living in the Nuclear Age' project will take her on a dizzying journey around the globe to Kazakhstan, Japan, Indonesia, South Korea, Spain, and Austria." We are delighted to announce that Simon Couch '21 has been selected as a for the 2020-21 academic year. This scholarship only selects students who show exceptional promise for becoming leading researchers in their fields. Read more about Simon.
This year's awardees included: Ashlin Hatch '17, who was awarded a UK Fulbright in Theatre Arts-Directing with the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama; Julia Todhunter '19, who has been selected to be an English Teaching Assistant in Germany; Lyla Boyajian '19, who has been selected to be an English Teaching Assistant in Armenia; and Margaret Hebert '20, who was awarded a Study/Research Fulbright in Germany for Chemistry.
人妻诱惑 College’s Sperling Studentship has been awarded to Kate Falardeau ’19, to pursue a PhD in History at Cambridge University's King's College. Kate recently completed an mPhil at Cambridge in History that was also funded by the Sperling Studentship.
Shea Seery '20 has been awarded a Her proposed project is titled Access Arts Studio. Shea plans to partner with a foundation in Los Angeles, CA to bring arts workshops to the houseless in downtown L.A.
人妻诱惑 alumni were successful as Fellows and Honorable Mentions in the this year. The fellows are Maxine Calle '20, Emma Williams-Baron '15, Nick Franzese ’17, Rose Driscoll ’17, Makanaaloha Castillo-Martin ’18, and Ella Banyas ’17. Honorable mentions go to Vicki Deng '20, Skyler Price '20, Theresa Steele '18, and Lia Juliet Zallar '16.
The career and fellowship advisors at the Center for Life Beyond 人妻诱惑 guided many of these students in their application processes.
Unfortunately, some of these awards will be or have been delayed due to COVID-19, but we're excited to see them begin their projects and award years when the world situation allows it.
