Requesting a Transcript for Fellowships Applications
Fellowship competitions will require you to provide a copy of your transcripts. They may or may not require that transcripts be official versions. They may require hard copy or electronic versions. Carefully read through any specific requirements before placing a request.
Unofficial Transcripts
Unofficial transcripts can be downloaded for free at any time by students and alumni in IRIS "Student Information." See the Registrar's website for more details on these transcripts.
Official Transcripts
If an official transcript is required for the purpose of Fellowships and Awards applications, ÈËÆÞÓÕ»ó students may request that official transcripts be sent to CLBR Fellowships at clbrfellowships@reed.edu, free of charge. To request transcripts for this purpose, students must download and use the form via the link below.
The transcript request form must be sent to the attention of Mark Fowler in the registrar’s office at registrar@reed.edu. The form must contain a true hand-signed signature, but can be sent electronically; the signature may be digital. List CLBR Fellowships and clbrfellowships@reed.edu in the recipient block. Indicate whether the transcript should be sent as a hard copy or electronically.
The registrar’s office also offers an online ordering service allowing you to request a transcript electronically using a vendor called Parchment, however, you will be charged a processing fee if you use this method.
It generally takes a few business days to process a transcript request and ensure delivery. Do not wait until the last moment to place your request.
